Dutch Antilles April 30

I love Curaçao weather it’s the place of warm breezes and powder sugar beaches or the Curaçao liqueur that is flavored with the dried peel of the laraha citrus fruit, grown on the island. I am in love with the colorful Dutch buildings and the way the locals speak.  I also look forward to cooking the Antilles cuisine, BBQ swordfish and fresh pineapple  so tasty so try mine and enjoy ! Proost !

I felt like something Spanish today !La Cocina

I got this recipe and wine pairing  from the BC liquor store magazine they publish every season and I adore this recipe it’s light and fresh just fantastic for spring so  check it out at  http://www.bcliquorstores.com/recipe-search?type=food

Holy See April 24

Rigatoni Carbonara

Wow! The Holy See is a anomaly in the smallest country in the world, Vatican City and  although the Holy See is closely associated with the Vatican City, the independent territory over which the Holy See is sovereign, the two entities are separate and distinct. Something to look up ! In the mean time look up the favorite meal in the Vatican Rigatoni Carbonara, try mine with some Pinot Grigio from Italy ! Manga Manga !
